We understand that our handcrafted items require special attention. Here are answers to common questions about keeping your fairy houses and vintage-inspired apparel in their best condition.

How can I keep my fairy houses and vintage clothes looking their best and lasting a long time?
Our fairy houses are not yet waterproofed, so they must be kept indoors in a dry area. They are safe to place in flower pots if you set them on a small, flat rock, or simply remove them before watering. We hope to find a way to waterproof these items soon, but due to their primary composition of soft pine wood and absorbent moss, careful storage is essential. They are fragile and not designed as toys. Please handle them with care.

Are there things I should avoid to prevent damage to my items?
Do not place them in water or near moisture. Exposure to dampness can damage the natural materials and delicate construction.

What's the best way to clean my items if they get dusty?

 These items are fragile and cannot be wiped clean in the traditional sense. Part of the magic is what happens as they age. If they accumulate dirt, allow them to be that way; it's as nature intended! If a fairy home absolutely needs cleaning, we recommend using an air spray, like what you would use to dust a keyboard. 

How should I care for my vintage-inspired dresses?

Vintage-inspired items should be kept dry and hung up when not in use. They are created with meticulous care, but as with any handmade items, please wear them gently. All items are returnable for patching for life if needed. 

Vintage inspired items should be washed by hand in cool-to-warm water. Air dry only.
