Lichen Residence

$25.00

Lichen Residence is said to be one of the most expensive and prominent homes in Cobbles Grove; sporting an extension for various uses and a built-in solar system for additional self-sufficiency.

When the previous land attendant, Rogan, moved on to greener pastures, the home collapsed into disrepair... The windows muggied, the outer layers became overtook by various lichen, and the upper level became unusable due to a small solar system fire. The current tenants believe that the moss acts as a type of camouflaging and thus have chosen not only to keep it - they also maintain it.

To qualify for a tax write off, they advertise that the home is designed to blend seamlessly with its natural surroundings, promoting biodiversity in the area. The tenants have implemented a rainwater harvesting system that not only conserves water but also nourishes the lush garden that surrounds the property. This "commitment" to environmental stewardship has made Lichen Residence less of an HOA nightmare and more of a model for eco-friendly living in Cobbles Grove.
